About Us

Established in 2015, SCR Foundation envisions growing as an idea across regions, economies and countries using urban discard as a tool to alleviate poverty and enhance the dignity of the poor in the world. Address basic but neglected issues of the poor by involving them in evolving their own solutions with dignity and urban material as reward.
SCR Foundation one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Rajasthan, SCR focuses on high-quality, low-cost and replicable interventions to address gaps in the education system. Working directly with children and youth as well as through large-scale collaborations with government systems, SCR programs reach millions of lives every year. SCR’s approach has demonstrated proven impact on children’s learning outcomes and is now being adapted to contexts outside India.

A FOCUS ON INNOVATION
SCR’s strategies reconfigure teaching methodologies, break down traditional tactics, and challenge the current rote learning mechanisms in child education. Our programs are innovative and outcome-driven. In its early years SCR developed innovative teaching-learning approaches, materials, and measurement methods. Since 2015, we pioneered a nationwide survey of schooling and learning that has had a major impact on national and international policy discussions.
